BNC — Meetings & Announcements
(September 21, 2006)

It's official: Wayne Mason's development group has withdrawn all of the rezoning applications for all sites on all 5 parcels submitted. This includes the proposed developments at 10th & Monroe (the "Piedmont Park towers"); Amsterdam Walk; Westminster; Greenwood; Freedom Park North; Freedom Park South; and North Avenue!

In light of this, the September 26th ZRB meeting has been cancelled. Thanks to each and every one of you who has participated in this process. What a great community effort!

The BNC will provide more details as things develop. However, it's safe to say that this is very good news, and attention may be turned to more fruitful aspects of Beltline planning very soon!

Be on the lookout for frequent BNC action alerts and updates with more information about meetings to attend, letters to write and calls to make. Please pass this information on to others, and encourage others to sign up for BNC action alerts by emailing the BNC communications committee or visiting the BNC website to subscribe.
